John Swain: The Feathered Masks
John Swain writes with an elegant, simple style that is free of many of the typical distractions that can steer the reader from the path. His words are often condensed, his thoughts distilled into lines that can be few, but powerful. This was something that appealed to us at Full Of Crow, because we certainly enjoy language (and have been known to indulge some appreciation of excesses) but we also respect words that bear the burden of meaning in sparse configurations. Eight of his poems make up The Feathered Masks – a short poetry collection, available here to download and on Issuu.
